Simple IPTV With iVue TV Guide - KODI

This guide is for those who are using the Simple IPTV Add-on in KODI for streaming their IPTV playlist and want a better EPG guide. It's possible to link with an Add-on called "iVue TV Guide" which has its own epg and will give you the programming for most of the main UK, Sports and also some US channels too. It's not perfect and I had to play a bit to find the best way but here's how I did it. I'm assuming you've already setup PVR Simple IPTV in Kodi with your m3u playlist:

1. Follow this guide to install iVue TV Guide (Also install iVue Creator from same repo) https://kodicommunity.com/how-to-install-the-ivue-epg-tv-guide-add-on-for-kodi/
2. Go to Program Add-ons and right click (or select menu depending on which device you're using) and choose settings from the context menu. 
3. In settings tab, make sure that "Have iVue always Prompt to choose addon" is checked. Click OK. Nothing else need be changed here. 
4. If you wish you can now fire up iVue TV guide. Once loaded, the TV guide will show. To link your IPTV to it, click your device's Back button. On the context menu that appears, click Tools and then click iVue Creator. If you installed it, a new menu should appear. 
5. Click Subscribe. You need to find PVR in the list. Right-click and choose "Subscribe" and wait for it to add the links. Once done, PVR should turn yellow. Exit iVue Creator then exit and restart iVue TV Guide. 
6. Now when you click on a programme in the guide, you should get a pop up with PVR channels that should correspond with the right channel. Select the one you want and it should work ok. 

This works with most channels from Pow-TV. I have found a few that link to the wrong ones but for a free epg, it's probably the better solution out there for the main channels until a better epg becomes available. There will also be many channels that iVue won't list. Adult channels and VOD for example.
